These are the 2 slides I have for manifestation. I use the first book of Harry Potter as my example. I also got my information from Wikipedia about FRBR: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FRBR#FRBR_Entities

I'm actually back in the Bay Area this weekend to visit my parents. But I will check back periodically to work on this project.
Toshu, it sounds like you're experienced with PowerPoint. I agree that a little animation such as sentences flying into the slides would be great. But nothing too dramatic.
I have never used Mac computer before so I have no idea about converting between Mac and PC. But I assume that they're all Microsoft softwares so hopefully we won't run into too many technical problems.
As for the copyright issue, I agree with Natalie that since we're not trying to sell anything. We're merely borrowing the pictures for educational purpose. I don't think that should raise any copyright concerns. Of course we can always consult the professor if we have concerns.
I have emailed the professor for more details about this assignment. This is what I asked:
"Do we use one 'work' to explainall four entities of FRBR? Do we have to explain what each entity is in the PowerPoint slide or do we justgive examples of each entity? What other informationdo we need to include on the PowerPoint slide? Is there any way you could post the details of thisexercise on Blackboard?"
This is what he replied:
"Amber, Yes use one work in E1."
That was all he wrote...He really likes to write short emails...
But I also asked him about this group function in Blackboard. I remembered seeing a group discussion function where we can post private discussions and chat live together on Blackboard. It would really help us a lot to coordinate our group work together. Prof. Ellett is looking into that right now.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Pam. As far as Internet images are concerned, I think we are o.k. because we are using them for educational purposes and not publishing them.
