Fictitious Surrogate

Here's what I've come up with for the fake book portion. I like the photo, but I wonder if it's really appropriate for a title page. Is anything missing for this portion of the assignment? Feel free to add or delete - I can send the word doc via email - these are screen shots.
I haven’t finished reading the Cataloging Monographs yet, so I may have overlooked something.

class schedule

Hi Amber, I think its up to us if we want to work in groups on all assignments or not, but there are a couple he definitely wants groups, such as the final project and the AV unit since having individual presentations would take too long. At least that’s my understanding. You can always ask for clarifications, even though sometimes he’s short, expect a prompt response.
I sent him my opinion on the new scheduling already, but really I’m okay with either way. The only difference is he took out two small assignments later in the course and they looked somewhat interesting to me anyway, so I wouldn’t mind spending time with those. Not that I NEED extra assignments.

Not a bad grade

Don't worry about it Natalie. I actually thought the professor was being a little bit picky. But 95 is a pretty good grade already. Besides I don't think exercise 1 was part of our grade anyway.

For the interview assignment, is it possible to set up the interview through Elluminate? I was thinking if it's really hard to schedule a time to meet together using Elluminate. Perhaps we can all come up with a list of interview questions. Then Toshu could record the interview as he suggested. What do you think?

I'm still confused at Prof. Ellett's assignment structure as I have never taken his class before. Are we supposed to do all fo the assignments in this class as a group? He wasn't too clear on that on the syllabus.

By the way, Prof. Ellett sent a restructure proposal for our class. What do you all think? Have you reply to him with your opinions already?

Ex 1 and AV unit

95 isn't bad - it's still an A! ah, I didn't know we were missing anything either...

Toshu & Natalie, are you talking about the same assignment? The Teaching AV unit we have to present during one of the dates we pick? Developing the assignment around a collection of images on slides sounds interesting, I’m on board with that. We could combine the two. Toshu’s supervisor may be useful for ideas on the project. Could you use Elluminate to do the interview and record it? Or do only instructors have permission to record an Elluminate session?

As far as the teaching AV assignment we will have to pick a date – anyone request one from Dr. Bob yet? I would suggest Nov. 14, or 21 as my second choice, leaving more time in between assignments.

Exercise 1 Feedback

Well, I just looked at our feedback. It looks like it's my fault that we didn't get a higher grade ): I didn't refer specifically to the title in my slide. I am very sorry.
