I'm okay with the plan as well. Yes, definitely record it in Elluminate, because in all likelihood I won't be able to make it to the Q&A - unless it's in the evenings. It's easy to set up, just request the time from Dr. Ellett.

Do you want to ask Mr. Manuel Urrizola the necessary questions from Dr. Ellett - "please provide number of staff in the cataloging department and whether the manager of the dept. has an MLIS degree." Or wait until Amber is back and chimes in? We have until next Friday to send in site approval.

Assignment 6 schedule

Head of our cataloging department, Mr. Manuel Urrizola, is willing to do the interview with us.

So, if you guys are alright with this plan, I will check his schedule and make an appointment.

I told him the interview will be about 30-40 min. and our questions will be presented to him as soon as possible.

I am on board with thus plan

I think this is a good plan. I'll take any sections. It really doesn't matter to me. However, I would like to finish up the IR assignment before we get really going on this. Pam and I have started worked on the Non-Print assignment too. As far times for the Elluminate session, I am ok with Mon and Tues after 6pm and and anytime on Weds, Thurs, and Fri.

My supervisor suggested me to interview with our head of department.

So, I will ask my head of department to set up the meeting with Elluminate.

At the same time, I will ask Dr. Bob how to set up the Elluminate recording.

First of all, we need to set the interview time in November.

Secondly, we need to select questions.

From the guidlne, there are 10 categories.

I will work on category 1 since this is my work place.

We can divide the categories.

For example,
Toshu think about questions for categories 2&3.

And, we can put all together before the interview.

I think that is a great idea, Toshu. I would love to learn more about your department. I have one request that I think is pretty important. I would like have the session recorded for anyone who can't make it. Could you set up an Elluminate session with your supervisor so hopefully all can attend?

Assingment 6 Evaluation Cataloging Service

I could interview my superviosrs in my cataloging department (UC Riverside, Cataloging Metadata Dept.).
One of my supervisors agreed with the interview.

Recently, R2 team came to our library and did their evaluation.

One of R2 members interviewed me with my co-workers.

We can decide our questions togehter and divide the writing into 2-3 pages per a group member.
