Hi! I just got home from work. It looks like you guys did a great job of finalizing this today. So the last file sent from Natalie is the one we're submitting? I just want to make sure before I also submit. It does look good!
Natalie & Amber I hope you can rest up this weekend and get over those colds!
Thanks Toshu too for all your help on this one.

Sorry
Sorry I haven't been participating much on this assignment. I was finally able to get out of bed yesterday after lying in bed for 2 days. Thank you all for your thorough explanations. Without your help, I really don't know how I can finish the assignment by myself.
From Pamela's post earlier on:
From Pamela's post earlier on:
#6: Pam has as 410 starting as Patrick, Toshu and Amber has Pat - I got mine from the second mention. Wouldn't this need to be spelled out?
#14: All match except Amber didn't but the birth date in - since it was given it should be added.
Got it. I will add the dates.
I thought Natalie's final version seems very good. I will also submit my assignment today.Alabama
I think that you can abbreviate State as in 260 fields subfields $a.
You don't have to spell it out.
For example:
California - Calif.

I am ready
I agree with Toshu. I am ready to be done with this assignment. (: I have emailed you all what I intend to submit as my final. I have a question though. About spelling out Alabama, can't authority record be wrong?
Lets' finalize it!
Hi,
I hope Amber and Natalie feel better. Please have rest if you can.
It's only 5% of our grades. But, this is a great practice.
You guys are doing great!
I think we should wrap it up and submit our assignment.
In terms of fixed fields, Dr. Bob put OCLC ARN number on #1
So, I put it.
Every cataloger has different judgement in cataloging.
Catalogers discuss it over and over.
And, catalogers try to get second opinions.
We almost agree everything except #12 and fixed fields.
If you are not comfortable with some of answers by our group,
I think you can put your own answer down for this assinment.
My answers for posts and comments from Natalie and Pamela:
#1
I think I have an incorrect one (670)
#3
I will follow your decision.
I followed the following guide line
Smith, John M. q (John Michael) -- no cross-ref required
Smith, J. C. q (Joan Carol) -- cross-ref required
#6
We should spell out "Partick"
#7
Let's not put "M.V.F.S.G."
I was wondering and talked with catalogers
Also, I followed OCLC records , For example, American Medical Assn.
ARN36366
#8
Let's follow Dr. Bob's guideline.
When we finalize a coporate name,
We always add (Firm), Inc.,or Corporation to corporate names.
Some of names can't tell a corporation, personal, or music group
#9
It's interesting! Pamela, you found similar OCLC record.
Let's follow the OCLC record
#11
I agree with Natalie about #11.
#12
Two bodies (University of California and Davis)
So, I thought it was different from #11
#13
Please spell out "Alabama"
I copied from the OCLC record
#14
I agree to add the date
