Hi everyone,
I was reading the Integrating Resources Manual from CONSER today and
found a few items to note.
Resource A probably should be cataloged as a prior publisher and current.
So Johns Hopkins University would be the previous publisher noted in a 500
note and then the Hospital for Sick Children would be in 260. The 260 field is
not yet repeatable, otherwise you could have both as Toshu had done.(pg 49) Use 550 if issuing body, but I don't think that applies in this case.
Also if you have a 362 field then you don't need the 260 $c date. One or the
other, both is not needed. (pg 46-47 & 65)
With this, I came up with the fields as follows:
Fixed fields
Ctry: onc
Dates: 1996,9999
260 __ Toronto, Ontario : ‡b Hospital for Sick Children
362 1_ Began in 1990.
500__ Published: Baltimore, MD : Johns Hopkins University, 1990-1996
